She lectured on cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) at the University of East Anglia, Suffolk, England, and the University of Essex for many years. Together with Dr James Manning she has co-authored several books on CBT. Dr James Manning is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and has post-graduate qualifications in both Clinical Psychology and Counselling Psychology. He has regularly offered workshops and training to clinicians throughout the United Kingdom on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and continues to work as a therapist.
